"I can relax with Brandy, knowing I'm in good hands."
I was exhausted with life and almost everything felt like a challenge...until I met Brandy.
She welcomes my struggles with such care, so we can spread them out and untangle them together.
Now I've found a way to befriend myself and treat myself with more compassion.

EMDR: Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing Therapy |
EMDR is designed to resolve unprocessed traumatic memories by accessing the brain’s natural healing ability. Many clients find that EMDR therapy can be completed in fewer sessions than other psychotherapies which means that they can feel better, sooner.
|
Neurofeedback |
Neurofeedback is a state-of-the art, non-invasive means of improving the brain’s ability to self-regulate, maintain flexibility, and smoothly shift between states of relaxation and focus.
During a neurofeedback session, sensors detect your brainwaves to see your brain in action. A computer compares your brain activity to targets or goals for you to reach. Sounds and images encourage your brain to automatically activate or suppress targeted brainwaves to optimize brain function. Much like physical exercises strengthen and develop specific muscles, the more your brain is exercised, the better and stronger it gets. All you have to do is show up, relax, and let the system do the rest. Clients who complete as few as 5 sessions report overall improved wellbeing: a consistently better mood, less reactivity to stressors, freedom from fears, increased focus, improved performance, more restful sleep, and more feelings of peace. To fully achieve your goals and for longer lasting results, 20-30 sessions are recommended. Package rates for 10 and 20 sessions are available. See below...

Lifespan Integration (LI) Therapy |
Lifespan Integration employs a simple, effective neurobiological process to clear up outdated, unhelpful beliefs, feelings, and behaviors that your brain developed to help you survive childhood. By gently updating your neural connections, LI not only gives you full access to the information and skills you learned as you grew. It also frees you to use them to create a happier and more connected life!
|
Hypnotherapy |
Hypnotherapy is a highly researched and effective method of changing unhelpful patterns in the brain, opening the mind to new possibilities, relieving fears, and increasing self-awareness through expanded states of consciousness.

Plant Medicine Preparation & Integration |
I do not offer guided psychedelic experiences. I do offer Psychedelic Preparation & Integration Therapy, which involves preparing for an upcoming experience with a plant or psychedelic medicine, and/or processing a psychedelic experience in a therapeutic context afterwards. It is distinct from a guided psychedelic experience in which the facilitator is present while the client is under the influence of the plant medicine or substance.*
Psychedelic Preparation & Integration Therapy includes:
|
*PLEASE NOTE: Psychedelic preparation and integration therapy involves the therapeutic processing of psychedelic experiences before and after the fact, rather than during a session. As a psychotherapist overseen by the Oregon Board of Licensed Counselors and Therapists, I do not encourage the purchase or consumption of illegal substances. I do not offer guided psychedelic experiences, nor do I see clients who are under the influence of psychedelic substances during sessions. I do not offer referrals to private providers who offer guided psychedelic experiences, and I do not assist clients in finding or obtaining illegal substances. If you are interested in a guided psychedelic experience to address mental health issues, you may wish to visit the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies to see whether you might qualify to participate in a current trial.
"I finally feel seen and understood"
I am able to do so much more than I could before working with Brandy.
I now feel confident in my ability to do things on my own, and I'm a lot less hard on myself when I can't.

Insurance
I am an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance directly. I accept payment at the time of service by debit, credit, & HSA/FSA cards via my secure HIPAA compliant online payment system and through Venmo or Zelle.
Some insurance companies provide reimbursements for out-of-network services. I provide a monthly Superbill receipt that you can submit to your insurance provider for direct reimbursement. Many of my clients receive partial reimbursement for our work together.
It’s a good idea to check with your insurance provider about your out-of-network benefits prior to scheduling an appointment. Neurofeedback is rarely covered by insurers, but things are always changing, so it’s worth your while to ask!

Out of Network Benefits
No diagnosis
Since I don’t take insurance, we aren’t required to give you a mental health diagnosis or a “label” that justifies why you need therapy or for how long. Because a diagnosis becomes a permanent part of your medical record, it can impact your future insurance policies and benefits. You are not defined by a diagnosis; you are a beautiful human being who deserves healing.
Privacy
You have complete privacy and confidentiality. Your personal information is secured in our HIPAA compliant electronic health record system and third-party companies don’t have access to any of your information. This means that your insurance company can’t dictate what kind of care you receive, how often you can be seen or what would work best for you. Instead, you and I decide what best fits your needs!
Undivided attention
Insurance companies require a lot of paperwork that is time consuming and takes away from my time with you. I’d rather spend that time helping you reach your personal goals, researching ways to support you in feeling better, and promptly responding to your texts, emails or phone calls.
Freedom & flexibility
Some insurance companies don’t cover non-traditional therapy services. They also don’t cover intensive services that may require several hours to complete. You can find peace knowing that your therapy services will always be accessible regardless of length, and whether they're online, in the office or in the park!

Medical Billing Rights and Protections
“Right to Receive a Good Faith Estimate of Expected Charges”
Under the No Surprises Act
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least one business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call me at (503) 313-5765.
